whats the rockabilly/psychobilly scene like in usa? or where you are from?

As New Zealand is small and poor Auckland seems to get smaller every day. The only interesting thing round New Zealand as far as pin up stuff old cars and awesome music goes is our very own "Beach hop"
once a year everyone who loves classic cars/hot rods, pin up culture and good old fashioned rockabilly goes for the four day event ....wish it was once a month!! sad thing is ...I'm not going this year!! :(

We JUST finished our 9th year. Just finished as in 30 minutes ago! I know htere is a good little scene in the NC area, more Rockabilly and Honky Tonk tahn Psychobilly though. We book a huge range of music and draw from bands all over the world.

I now live in South Florida (lived in NC for 13 years) and the scene here is not good....to far south in the pennisula for bands to want to tour here. But, I always have HRW!; ▶ Reply to This

There was taste of downtown last week but the bands I was going to see, got rained out.

I would, but Im only 17 and not really allowed to go out of town, and bringing your mom along gets emmbarrasing after while.
lulz, our scene is so small where im from, Im the only one.
I've been trying to get to more shows but my mom doesnt really like to drive three hours and then party for more, she says shes too old to do that.

As far as out our way in bumfuck swamptown maryland, we have to travel to baltimore to play shows and even then the scene is small and spread way out all over the place and it seems like that in most places that we know of in the states.
